Act, is amended by inserting after the item relat-

ing to section 36B the following new item:

.--Notwithstanding section 901 of the Economic Growth

and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001, such section
5
shall apply to the amendments made by this section and
6
the amendments made by section 202 of such Act by sub-
7
stituting ``December 31, 2011'' for ``December 31, 2010'' in
8
subsection (a)(1) thereof.

FFECTIVE

ATE
.--The amendments made by this

section shall apply to taxable years beginning after Decem-
11
ber 31, 2009.

Amend the title so as to read: ``An Act entitled The
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.''.
