N GENERAL
.--With respect to each covered

entity, the fee under this section for any calendar
5
year shall be equal to an amount that bears the same
6
ratio to $2,300,000,000 as--

(A) the covered entity's branded prescrip-
8
tion drug sales taken into account during the
9
preceding calendar year, bear to
10
(B) the aggregate branded prescription drug
11
sales of all covered entities taken into account
12
during such preceding calendar year.

ALES TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT
.--For purposes

of paragraph (1), the branded prescription drug sales
15
taken into account during any calendar year with re-
16
spect to any covered entity shall be determined in ac-
17
cordance with the following table:
