Commissioner of Social Security has en-

tered into an agreement, with respect to any
2
State, to make disability determinations for
3
purposes of title II or XVI of the Social Se-
4
curity Act) to provide for eligibility assess-
5
ments of active enrollees who apply for re-
6
ceipt of benefits;
7
``(ii) enter into an agreement with the
8
Protection and Advocacy System for each
9
State to provide advocacy services in ac-
10
cordance with subsection (d); and
11
``(iii) enter into an agreement with
12
public and private entities to provide advice
13
and assistance counseling in accordance
14
with subsection (e).

EGULATIONS
.--The Secretary shall
16
promulgate regulations to develop an expedited
17
nationally equitable eligibility determination
18
process, as certified by a licensed health care
19
practitioner, an appeals process, and a redeter-
20
mination process, as certified by a licensed
21
health care practitioner, including whether an
22
active enrollee is eligible for a cash benefit under
23
the program and if so, the amount of the cash
