as the `Nursing Home Compare' Medicare

website) (or a successor website), the following
3
information in a manner that is prominent, up-
4
dated on a timely basis, easily accessible, readily
5
understandable to consumers of long-term care
6
services, and searchable:
7
``(i) Staffing data for each facility (in-
8
cluding resident census data and data on
9
the hours of care provided per resident per
10
day) based on data submitted under section
11
1128I(g), including information on staffing
12
turnover and tenure, in a format that is
13
clearly understandable to consumers of long-
14
term care services and allows such con-
15
sumers to compare differences in staffing be-
16
tween facilities and State and national
17
averages for the facilities. Such format shall
18
include--
19
``(I) concise explanations of how
20
to interpret the data (such as a plain
21
English explanation of data reflecting
22
`nursing home staff hours per resident
23
day');
