Global warming scandal

by Mar Matthias Darin

By now I'm sure most people are aware of the one hundred and twenty megabytes of leaks emails from various climatologists that have been leaked. Ironically, Obama is expected to attend and sign a climate change treaty at the Copenhagen climate change conference.

This is one big scandal showing large numbers of climatologists hiding or ignoring data the global warming is not as severe as they claim. Unfortunately, all of the lies and cover-ups are going to damage the genuine interest and intent to provide better alternatives.

Our politicians, like Al Gore, have been pushing to ransack our economy and industries, not for the betterment of our nation, but for their pathetic greed. There is no doubt that the Earth's climate is changing. There is; however; considerable doubt and controversy as to how our climate is changing.

When scientists of any type start seeing dollar signs instead of actual scientific facts, it only damages their reputation and any good that could be offered from the research. Their selfish stupidity has dealt a severe blow to a market that can be profitable and advantageous.

I have read some of the leaked email and am considering whether or not to post them here. The emails I have read are quite interesting and definitely are an eye opener to just how big this scandal really is. With billion of dollars on the line, the cap and trade bill (slap and tax to some) in congress, a depressed economy, and a high jobless rate, I think our government needs to take a step back and re-evaluate this whole situation.

Don't get me wrong, I am a strong supporter of solar and wind technologies, but not because its politically correct. I support these technologies because it conserves money and resources --- something our worthless, greedy, pin-headed politicians need to learn.
