Why Jews hate Blacks by Mar Matthias Darin Wow! That's a title that will start a war! I'm sure half the readers that flooded this article have fire in the eyes and smoke bellowing from their ears. Why did I choose such a blazing fire storm of a title? Well, I'm sure there is some hatred on both sides, though I don't know anyone personally. However; that really isn't the reason for this article. Now that everyone's blood pressure has returned to normal and the pitchforks, daggers, and machetes have been safely tucked away, I'll dispel my reasons for the flaming title. The title is this article is divisive, racial, and just itching for a world war. Its controversial to say the extreme least, and that is the point. Controversial topics do well in blogging, just like printed media and television, because their controversial. They illicit reactions from their visitors and such topics are great in generating traffic (and profits). What do you think the public response would be like if this title was front page on the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal? Amidst the rather colorful language would be a marketing paradise. Sales would go off the scales as probably would their phones. So why do bloggers, including myself, like to use extreme methods? The answer is actually very simple and the very same reasons many for printed news papers. Its one of the most powerful ways to generate traffic and illicit responses. Using such tactics doesn't mean the person writing the article is racist or that they want to viciously harm someone, although there are some out there that will. Bloggers like me, use this method to force very difficult issues and topics to the forefront of most peoples' minds. Its a technique that blows the doors open for a debate. A debate that, if handled properly, can have a positive outcome in actually solving a problem or at least working towards a solution. So the next time you see a wild title just waiting for the ax, it might be that the author of that fiery, ax wielding title wants to solve the problem or at least bring the issue into the open. Never forget, a little bit of controversy is a good thing, if used properly. Top tags: title, article, controversial, topics, bloggers, debate, extreme, fire, illicit, open
