David Letterman: Caught with his pants down by Mar Matthias Darin What is it with all these sex scandals this year? 2009 seems to be the year every politician and television celebrity can't seem to keep their pants on or skirts down... David Letermen recently admitted to cheating on his wife. What is so ironic about this is the amount of air time he has used to chastise and trash others who have cheated on their wives. I guess Letterman forgot to check his glass ceiling before he started throwing rock. Remember Letterman's cheap pot shots at Eliot Spitzer, former governor of New York, "It's so sunny and bright outside that, earlier today, Eliot Spitzer came out of a brothel squinting". During Letterman's monologue, he said, "I mean, can you imagine, if this happened to me how fast they'd have my ... (backside) out of here?" It has happened, but unlike Spitzer, Letterman hasn't been fired yet... Lets not forget the Letterman chastisement of Senator Larry Craig, Senator David Vitter, Senator Gary Hart, Governor Mark Sanford. And who could possible forget Letterman's monologues about President Bill Clinton and former presidential candidate John Edwards. Its seems Letterman has been caught with his pants down and his hand someplace where they shouldn't be. Looks like Letterman should just shut his mouth and go away. He's ruined his marriage, broken the trust his wife and traumatized his five year old son all while being a hypocrite and making fun of others who were caught with their pants down. So what should CBS do? The only responsible thing to do --- fire him. Most likely they won't though... And people wonder why CBS has fallen in the ratings... Its really simple, trash in equals trash out. Time for CBS to throw the trash out. Yes, he probably cheated on his girlfriend now wife. But at least he doesn't go around claiming he is Mr. Family Values like some of our politicians (can you just see the grin on all Fake News reporters/commentators and the Palin fringe). This has been a tough summer, for Dave, for our economy but at least he did not end up on the Republican 2009 Summer of Love list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Sanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC). Comments from Mar Matthias Darin This may be true, but a hypoctite is still a hypocrite, irrgardless of whether the person is a politician or not. Comments from Mizé 82.155.236.36 Hello, This is so US, lol The most interesting part is the TV coverage of this type of "news". I didn´t know my blog was doing so well on AFTR... Just checked the stats and had a pleasant surprise. I´ll be adding AFTR to other blogs too. Good rest of week, Mizé Comments from Mar Matthias Darin And U.K. They've also seem to have a lot of saucy scandals of late as well. In regards to AFTR, great! I'm glad it is doing well and I look foreward to receiving your blog URLs. A good rest of the week and weekend to you also. Comments from Laane 77.250.194.140 Well, every year has it's "items", I don't think this year is different. When the blog of entrewas has enough posts, it'll enter AFTR, when it's allowed, I mean. :) Enjoy your day today. Here we finally have sun after an enormous amount of very heavy rains. Couldn't leave the house yesterday without the water flooding in the shoes or boots, and we're not between hills or on low grounds. Comments from Mar Matthias Darin It does seem that way... I look forward to seeing in in AFTR. Here we have a raw cold that strip the flesh right off of your bones and a little rain, but not much. We went from a nice day yesterday to frostbite today...
