Rant: Creation versus Evolution by Mar Matthias Darin This is a passionate rant for me. I am a computer scientist of 29 years so my training and education prior to my priesthood was purely scientific or laboratory style. To further add to the setting, let me profess that also prior to my priesthood, I was a cast-iron willed atheist. I was brought up with all the evolutionists ideology that we evolved from apes and that the universe evolved from the "Big Bang" theory and life came from the protoplasmic residue from the universe. Well, I am still a devote computer scientist as well as a priest and bishop. And... all this evolutionistic hogwash has more drips then a leaky faucet. Protoplasmic residue, a nice fancy name, now what does it really mean.... Well, lets apply pure logic here. Residue is defined as a remaining group, part, or trace. So, at this point, the human race evolved from left-over, unused elements. More blatantly put, intergalactic sludge, or commonly called primordial soup. Now we have a true understanding of evolution in terms of development of the human race. According to the evolutionists, life evolved by accident from the primordial soup of the creation of the planet and has sense evolved to higher forms of life. Quite frankly, I would not relish telling people I believe I come from the great galactic sewage pile, which is, by the way, exactly what the evolutionists say when they state they do not believe they were created by a higher being I prefer to call GOD. There are two sides to this issue and no middle. According to both sides, any one in the middle needs psychiatric help and furthermore, needs to be institutionalized for their own safety. Below is a generalization of both sides. Not all members of each side are as this details nor does this mean we should stereotype people. Every person is different and should be respected as such. What the below does is describe the overall group with a common belief, not of an individual who may share some of these common beliefs. Here are the sides. First, Creationists, believers in GOD, Christians, what ever word you want to use here, believe we were created by a higher all knowing perfect being of which we call GOD. We are created in his image and we have a purpose on this planet to help others grow and learn to love each other as brothers and sisters. Next, we have the Evolutionists, Darwinists, Atheists, whatever else you want to call them, who believe we evolved from the universe's left-over sewage and we have no great plan or method to live our lives. They believe there is nothing after this life except a permanent death and as such have little regard for life or the lives of others. After all, why should they take a few minutes out of there lives to help someone else. Why not let them die and make room for somebody else. This is a rather self-centered and egotistic belief. We must ask ourselves, "what are we really saying about ourselves?" Are we a race of selfish, self-centered beings who can grow no higher then the sewage we evolved from, or are we being who can grow to perfected love simply by showing a little compassion? There is no middle, we each must choose, are we intergalactic sewage, or a being created by GOD? Which are YOU?
