A world without GOD by Mar Matthias Darin This article will probably make a lot of people uncomfortable... because I'm going to address a topic most like to try to avoid. I'm going to put our society under a microscope and ask a some tough questions. So buckle yourself in and get ready to take a trip on the moral roller coaster. For the last forty or so years, many people in society have pushed for GOD to be removed for everything. Our legal and moral system was built around GOD in the form of the Ten Commandments. Ironically, these fundamental precepts of how we should live our lives has become the center of attack. Why would the authority behind our very legal system and government come under fire? Without the Ten Commandments, who is the authority behind the laws we live by? These are very good questions that I hope to address here. The Ten Commandments have been the center of controversy because they show one's guilt. A thief or a murderer hides in the shadows to be unseen while he commits his crime. The Ten Commandments is likened to a monster flood light the reveals all the criminal intentions of any human being in the form of a guilty conscious. Why does a person feel guilty when they commit a crime? Because they know right from wrong. By removing the Ten Commandments from the center of society, those that believe they can skulk around in the shadows can continue their nefarious affairs without the spot light of guilt, out of sight, out of mind. Without the Ten Commandments as the incorruptible authority of our legal system, the laws that have been passed can then be challenged under the auspices of freedom. Those that use them pathetic excuse to justify their immoral behavior are only narcissistically seeking to down play, hide or in some other way justify their guilt. By removing the authority of GOD, an incorruptible being that is the symbol of a pure and true justice, our society has eroded to man-created gods to rationalize their actions. Even those that profess believing in GOD may not believe in the ONE true GOD of Creation, but rather in a man made god. Money is one such man made god. The GOD of Creation does not need money. Preachers that say "GOD needs your money for this ministry to continue," are not serving the ONE true GOD of Creation, they are serving the god of greed. With or without that preacher, GOD's divine plans will continue... Statements like the above really say the preacher needs your money so he can go buy that expensive whatever for his own personal satisfaction. In the Christian Bible, tithing is an expected way for people to keep the church in operation. Most people believe that this means the church should get one tenth of all their money. That is wrong. Tithing may also apply to your labor. Volunteers, for example, tithe in the form of their time. This is a classic example of where a man made god is used to justify greed. Churches like the one described above profess their belief in GOD, but they practice their belief in the god they want, not the GOD of Creation. Another classic example is the crucification of Jesus Christ. Why was Christ crucified? Simple, the Jews wanted a god of war, not a GOD of peace. How many wars were waged in the name of GOD? Too many to count. Yet, when one really looks at scripture, the foundation that Christ set down was one of peace. Christians are to live by the New testament, but study the important lessons of the Old Testament. Another classic example is Islam as defined by Ishmael versus Islam as defined by Muhammad. They are very different. Islam as defined by Ishmael or better described as Ishmaelism parallels the teachings of his brother Isaac. Islam as defined by Muhammad or Muhammadism has a very different definition, at least in the modern context. One might say and be able to show support that Muhammadism is just as corrupt and religious Christianity. In essence, religious Christianity and religious Islam (Muhammadism) are not about the ONE true GOD of Creation, but rather the man made god its human followers need to justify their immoral depravity. It is important to pay attention to the fact that I prefixed both Christianity and Islam above with the word religious. This is important, because the ONE true GOD of Creation is NOT a religion, but a way of life that transcends the "Sunday worshipers" and that there are many people of Christian and Islamic faith that are true to their faith, i.e. Christism and Ishmaelism respectedly. A classic literary example is the Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. This is an excellent story that describes best what the end result of a godless world would be. When all is said and done, there is no escaping the final fact that a person's crimes are exposed no matter how many ways those crimes are "justified".
