The Lamentations of Barack Obama by Mar Matthias Darin The shadows of racism are relentlessly vexing presidential candidate Barack Obama with preternatural acuteness. First came the question-ability of his church, then Louis Farrakhan became an issue, a few days ago his spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright Jr., and now the unsolicited endorsement of the New Black Panthers. I say unsolicited above based on Obama's statement. My personal opinion of this issue perplexing Obama is very simple: "Birds of a feather flock together." I stated here that Obama's woes were just starting. Obama refused to "cut the head of the snake off" with the racial rhetoric of Wright. Well now that snake has returned stronger then before. The history of the Black Panthers is widely available, so I'm not going to repeat it here. Their history is racial and violent. That has been clearly documented. It is my ferm opinion that these issues will continue to hound Obama until he kills this snake or the venom of the racism snake smits Obama. Its that simple. There is no middle ground with racism. You either court it or repudiate all associations with it. Again, I emphasize, there is no middle ground, either you are or are NOT racist. This issue is not going to disappear and all the fancy oratories in the world will not dull the fangs or venom of racism. Obama has a very serious problem with this demon and it will remain for some time to come. Top tags: obama, racism, snake, issue, barack, black, history, middle, opinion, panthers
