God Is Not a God of Colors

God Is Not a God of Colors
But a God of Love

God is not and never been a God of Color in the ways man has chosen to define them. He is a God of Love, Mercy, Pardon and Forgiveness. Sadly, man has chosen to be "selective" about colors, especially when it comes to the human race. They think that their color is better that that of someone of an another color. Why? Because they are narrow-minded and bigoted. They have been brought up that way to believe that this is so. What they all fail to realize is that we all come from the very same dirt and the very first people that God created. Look at Genesis 2:7-8, 20-23 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, an

So what is the point? The point is that the dirt is composed of many colors: 1. Red, 2. Brown, 3. Black, 4. yellow, 5.White. Just like the song we used to sing in Sunday School, entitled "Jesus loves the little Children" Goes something like this:

"Jesus loved the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and Yellow, Black and White,
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children
of the world."

Although it doesn't mention all the colors of the earth's composition, you should get the point pretty clearly. Since He created us from the dist of the earth, knowing full well that what every gene was prominent in them they would all be of a different color. Did that make him love them less? NO! He loved them because they are His creation and there is only one race on this planet and that is the human race. Man, on the other hand insists on calling others that are not of the same color as they are another race. (I.E. black (Negroes), white (white Anglo-Saxons), yellow (Asian) or red (Native American); as I have stated before, THERE IS ONLY ONE RACE AND THAT IS THE HUMAN RACE! They have even given foreigners who come in from other parts of the world to live here in the USA "aliens" ! I always though in God's terminology, aliens were those from other planets!

How shameful it is that we as the people of God have to be so prejudicial, narrow-minded, hypocritical and bigoted. This is not what God is not about. When will we ever learn what God is really about? When it is too late and we have slaughtered every color except ours? It doesn't matter the color of one's skin we are all the same in the sight of God. How dare we judge another because of the color of their skin or for that matter - for any reason!

God Is a God of Colors in the form of Rainbows, People, Love and Sacrifice. What man fails to comprehend is the fact that we ARE ALL MADE IN HIS IMAGE, regardless of the color of our skin. We are undeniably created in His image (Genesis 2) - yet we are unique In His design of us with certain talents, character and attributes. Let us assume for a moment that Jesus was a Black man? Would we have the same feelings about him then as we do now or would we despise Him because of His color? The same applies to the fact that Jesus and God are the makers all of creation, therefore they are of all colors. We can't put God and His son into a perfect little box to suit what we think He should be - It just isn't going to happen. He is and always will be a God and Lord to all people and all colors of people . They are red and yellow black and white, tan and olive.

Do you think for one minute that God made you smarter and more intelligent than someone who is a Native American or an African or Greek? Do you think for one moment that God made it a point to make you and your color a special kind of creation, in giving you intelligence and smarts? Think again ! For the black nation there is Rosa Parks, Maya Angelo, Martin Luther King and Booker T. Washington. For the Native Americans of all nations there were many heroes and well educated people like: (1)Chief Joseph - Leader of the Nez Perce and a True American, (2) Chief John Ross of the Cherokee Nation, (3) Crazy Horse - A Sacred Hero, (4) Geronimo - The Last Apache Holdout , (5) Little Crow - Leader of the Santee Uprising. (6) Red Cloud - Lakota Warrior & Statesman and (7)Spotted Tail - Warrior, Chief & Negotiator. The Olive Skinned (Jewish) has (1) David Ben Gurion-Israel-1948, (2) Nobel Prize Winner (1 of 48 since 1908) - "for his discovery of human blood groups" and (3) Menachem Begin - Leader in Israel.

There are many more from all the people of different colors that God blessed with many things and gifts. You are no more special than a person whose color is different than yours, nor are you any smarter or have more(or less) in feelings, character, spirit and determination than they. In other words, it is time to get off your "high-horse" with your bigoted, prejudicial and hypocritical attitudes of others and realize that God is in everyone and everything you see, irregardless of what and who they are. When you curse, mock, abuse and belittle them, you are doing the very same thing to the God you claim to love. Start living on the "God side of Life" and learn to see this world as He does - With Love, Compassion and understanding that is coupled with mercy, pardon and forgiveness! He word shows you how.
